We are always looking for more adults to join us, either behind the scenes or working with our amazing young people. We are currently looking for a new Chair for our Trustee Board and some additional Scout Team Members to work with our existing Leadership Team. We will be holding an Open Day / Recruitment Event on Saturday 19th July 2025. Our supporters, neighbours and Vale Park users are invited to come along and see what improvements we have made to the Scout Hut. To thank people for their patience while the building work was being completed we will be offering free refreshments during the event. Once final details are know I will update this post with the start and finish time of the event.

The event is also an opportunity for anyone interested in getting involved with the 14th Hove Scout Group to come along, meet the Leaders and ask questions. If you have a child that you think would like to join Scouting please bring them along so they can see some of the fun and exciting things that Scouting provides

Our annual Family Fun Day and Barbecue will be on Sunday 29th June from 11am to 3pm. This is our main fund raiser of the year so please come along and support the event and invite family, friends and neighbours. We will need lots of help to set up, clear away and run stalls. Please respond to the OSM invites that have been sent out.

We will be holding our AGM on Wednesday 16th July at Scout Hut in Vale Park. All current and future members are invited to attend. If you are interested in joining the Trustee Board (you don’t need to have a child in Scouts to join) please get in touch and I can provide you with more information
