Reminder of the ceremonies we have in Cubs followed by fun and games

Learn how to use garden tools safely, find out which season fruit and veg grow. Weeding and planting around the hut

We will be walking through the wood behind West Hove Sainsbury, looking for signs of Hedgehogs. Cubs will need walking boots, (a coat )and torch - a head torch is best. We will need some parents to walk with us. Meeting at the recycling bins in the Sainsburys car park

Making hedgehog bread and cooking campfire donuts.
We will need some parents to stay and help

Can we spot any bats overhead.
Baking apples and toasting marshmallows over the campfire. Finishing with a few campfire songs.
This is a joint meeting for both Cub Packs.
Please make sure your Cub is suitably dressed for an evening in the woods (walking boots, coat and head torch)

We will be carving pumpkins which we will light up and display on the path outside the hut for parents to see and making witches broomsticks

We will be making edible bonfires and decorating cakes or biscuits
